LET’S WALK AND TALK FOR #ANTARCTICA2048  

On December 12th we will walk THE WALK for the second time! On 7 continents at the same time. From South Africa to Alaska, from Nepal to New Zealand, and all over the Netherlands. We're walking for #ANTARCTICA2048. Antarctica is the last piece of the "free world" on our planet. In 2048, the fragile continent will lose its protected status. A number of countries think they can claim Antarctica. We at The 7B Club believe it is owned by all 7 billion people on Earth. That's why we walk, talk and collect steps all over the world. To make a voice together, and tell the world how important it is that Antarctica stays free. 

 The importance of Antarctica is still unknown to many people, for example, it has a key role in the global CO2 problem, due to the gigantic and rapid decrease in the ice surface. In addition, Antarctica is home to the largest freshwater resource in the world and its flora, fauna and resources are invaluable to all of us. A vulnerable and economically rich area. In good hands with us, ordinary citizens who want the best for the planet and our children, who will soon inherit it.

WALK AND TALK AND UNITE 

On December 12th, we walk on all 7 continents for a better world. At places of your choosing, on the coast, in the woods, on the heath, or simply in the city. Time is running out, only 27 years to go. That is why we invite you to join us in taking at least 7 billion symbolic steps for a safe Antarctica and a new fair world for all members of The 7B Club, that’s us!
